tinta is an exploration of all things visual with a focus on dance. I cover just about anything regarding the current scene of the performing and visual arts in the NYC area. It also follows my journey as a professional dancer and choreographer.
@kevinmarsh135 I am trying to! It's very easy to get caught up with the business of making money to survive. I live in NYC and that's my reality. But I choose to MAKE A LIFE!!
@kevinmarsh135 I used to have many jobs and I enjoyed about half of them. Now I am focused on making my art a viable way to support myself so I don't have to have 10 side jobs. It's not about the making a lot of money, it's about survival. As an artist I should be able to support myself with the work I create. I've been a dance teacher, waitress, administrative assistant, babysitter, front desk associate, and dog walker just to name a few! R
Good advice! Do you live by this?

I'm always fascinated by what people do for a living so they can pursue what they love. Do you enjoy your "job?"

Wouldn't dog walker and baby sitter be the same job?
